Greetings Southwest Church Family!

On June 7th, the Health Department along with the Indianapolis City-County Council, approved to lift the Marion County’s mask mandate for fully vaccinated individuals, except for in certain situations such as hospitals, airports, and public transportation.  Fully vaccinated individuals are defined as those who received their final dose of the vaccine at least two weeks prior.  Also, increased capacity for religious organizations is increased from 75% to 100%.

What does this mean for church services & activities?

With guidance from our Church Board, we will be loosening our regulations accordingly:

  1. All seats will be available during worship.
  2. Masks are no longer needed for those who are fully vaccinated (signage will display this)
  3. Masks will be available at the Entry Doors for anyone who chooses to use them. Sanitizer will continue to be available throughout the     building.
  1. We will continue using the Offering Box for the foreseeable future.
  2. Communion will resume in July on the first Sunday of the month, but we will be using prepacked communion for the foreseeable future.
  3. Bulletins will be available again at the entry table and Welcome Center.
  4. Entry into the building will remain at the same location (through the carport as normal). Exiting the building will no longer have restrictions to a certain set of doors.
  5. Lastly, we want to thank everyone for helping us do what we needed to do for this last year! It hasn’t been always easy, but we have worked together and not let this become an issue for our church family… and I say, “Praise the Lord!”
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at or by calling 317-856-3713.

We are look forward to worshiping together with our church family!  See you Sunday!
